So, BIG MONTH!!!! This past week has been the BEST out of the whole year! Finished up my Mary Kay Star Consultant (Wooo Hooo hello benefits!!!) Got recognized in front of all MK ppl in the area (ppl from as far as Mid New Mexico) It was a clap fest yes, but no complaints when ppl are clapping for you!

Thurs night was Polar Express night... We got to ride on the Polar Express Train and I swear I haven't been this happy about Christmas in a LONG time... I truly felt like I was 7, getting to wake up and run to see what Santa brought... which by the way... I can still hear the bell ring! So on the ride, that's where all the fun began. We got to the North Pole, Santa and his elves get on the keep us entertained for our ride back to Lubbock and I'm just really in the Christmas mood, thanking Jeff for the great bday gift and what not. So then he asks and elf to take our pic. I lean in to take a pic and he leaves me, steps into the isle and "attempts" to get down on one knee...(If you've ever ridden an amtrak train on the top deck.. you know how narrow the isles are) and proposed...
I've got to say I was speechless and it took lots of effort to get out the OK..
that was all I could muster up. No I didn't cry but I was really shaky and super glad I hadn't finished my Hot Chocolate yet. It was a really clever way of asking and I didn't spoil it ahead of time in some random way and Jeff even tho his nerves were on overload I couldn't really pick up on it (which kinda scares me a bit but really really glad I didn't cause I LOVED the surprise!!) It pretty much made for a great way to Start my bday and get me feeling good again about the holidays! We had a good talk on the last part of ride and He really did good,... asking dad, getting the ring with all the bells and whistles (so in case I have a blonde moment, the ring is taken care of..... phew!!) and having and AMAZING setting to get engaged in as well as making sure I have my camera to capture it all.... It was awesome!
