Busy Busy Busy!!!

Well work has really picked up! HAHA Teacher Heaven not so much, just same ole inventories and such, but our book reading club is doing AMAZING! :) Finished the new Dan Brown book, The Lost Symbol, and I feel like I have a new found interest in History that I never had before. Made me wish I could take a semester at Harvard and just take random history classes that get in-depth on the things that are most overlooked!!! I've had 3 Debuts when it all boils down to it. I've done 2 Coast to Coast debuts and that has been fun. I believe my heart was gonna beat right out of my chest because my nerves were so intense. It went fine and I really didn't even have to do anything but call the conference line :) Loni made fun of me but none the less it went really well. I had another Coast to Coast (for my follow up debut since not everyone got their products in time) tonight and I feel because it was only 2 people it went TONS better since it was more interactive. I also had my in person Debut and that was a bit sad I'm not going to lie. I had fun and in reality it was probably best cause they felt more personal. They are also gonna be my first in person facials which I'm REALLY excited about!! I would have loved for others to show however I fully understand ppl have jobs as well as most of my friends in Lubbock are guys who would not be caught dead in that. Either way I finally feel like I'm getting somewhere with all of this and I'll be looking forward to possible working on getting into a red jacket! :) So I've posted the pics of my yummy desserts that I'd made for my Debut!! :) Hope you enjoy!!! yummy cupcake hamburgers!!

Crunch Time

So my 1st MK debut is tomorrow via coast to coast! I'm stoked and at the same time almost making myself sick with anxiety over it. I wasn't able to send out the packets fast enough so it had to be over nighted. I was told that ppl in Missouri probably wouldn't be able to get it till Mon :`( I call my family in Missouri and right off the bat, MY AUNT GOT IT!!! YAY!! Talk about a great Hail Mary! Oh wait, phone call #2 to my Aunt in v-town... NOTHING!! What the heck, I was horrible bummed! So it was random on who got theirs and who didn't. I was hoping for a better turn out but I guess I'm just going to have to settle. I know that this means I'll have a decent sized call next time too and they'll already have the stuff so the hard part will be already taken care of :) There is always a silver lining to things. Plus talking to everyone they seem pretty ok about it and seem like they might be more intrigued to call in since they have their samples to look at.

Clearance Inventory is tomorrow (last Sunday to work for the year tho) so as long as I can make it there by 8 30, we'll be great! Again, Silver lining :)

Can't end this lovely blog without saying WRECK'EM TECH! I never understood why Leach got the pirate thing to catch on but it worked perfectly today... being that its International Pirate Day, couldn't have fallen any better on the day we play UT.. haha we need all the help we can get!

Building A Dream

Man, So I've finally set my Mary Kay Debut's. My Coast to Coast Debut is this Sunday at 7pm central (being that my friend and family base are literally coast to coast). I'm pretty excited however I've got to call 40+ ppl 2NITE!! YIKES! I'm still excited and hope I can inspire ppl to at least call and see what I'm starting so that they will understand! Then Sunday the 27th I'll have my local Debut at 330! That I'm more excited about because I can personally take care of inviting people for this party (being that there are less people in Lubbock that I know). Plus I have a little bit more time to take care of everything.. And I really need to get facials on the books to so if you know anyone near or far as long as they have a phone, or you yourself would enjoy some "me time" with a little bit of pampering, let me know! :) I'd love to have your face in my portfolio. I'll have all sorts of categories for you to pick what you would like to be in or you could make your own unique one! Well enough time with this cause I've got lots of work to do!!! Meh.. Rambles

So, not a bad day all in all. Up early naturally... Sable is adorable and CRAZY well behaved!!! Her only flaw is she is a hard core night owl because she sleeps all darn day! so at 2, 4, 5, 6 she is rustling around and 7 she is in your face wanting attention. She got kicked out last night and still did really well, a few whines here and there but nothing I couldn't ignore! Work was slow and easy got everything done with crazy speed! So lots of trashy novel reading (my first and prolly my last.. only reading cause the authors name is Cara ;) hehe ) good talks, soap catch up and a great game of five crowns... so much so Lindy and I clocked out and stayed to finish the last hand! :) Game home to sweet Sable and Jeff made dinner with the meat I prepared! Now its football time (of course) but the word just texted is Vampire Diaries on CW is a pretty good show so I'm checkin it out then kasi talk if not movie time too at 8ish... Can't forget to add that jeff did laundry today and made the bed!! dang I got lucky today... my only downfall was the rejection letter from the AHEC office I interviewed with last week.... ppl just don't seem to get that I'm ok with travel. Either way, for now I'm a lil more stable and we'll see how things play out at work with this new underlying development trying to work its conniving little way in the back door. I know I was told not to worry but heck... I'm only the biggest worry wart in the world when it comes to things I have no control over... Thanks dad of that perfectionist independent control freak up bringing.. it would work great only I've got moms caring emotions and that just throws things out of whack... I care about not leaving anyone behind while making sure its done right meaning sucking at delegating..... ok, enough random rant... its made me into this lovely women people see today.... I'll make it work with Mary Kay!! :) hehe I rhymed and now its time to to end the line and let you get back to real time (lame i know but once i start its hard to let go) usually a sign I'm tired... which I am.... LATERS!!!

Julie/Julia day

So today... like a perfect alarm clock, Sable was up at 7 am to go out. And naturally she doesn't need to pee right away, she needs to walk around a bit. Then she LOVES to lick your face!! Yesterday I got a great little nap in between church and going to Lindy's labor day party! So anywho, I got up and jeff convinced me to make breakfast (more like guilt since he does make the larger portion of our meals but that neither here nor there ;) ) Then did a lil bit of clean up, grocery shopped then my day of experiment cooking began... A South of the Border Casserole which was AWESOME... it was almost like my mexican pizza just faster to make .. doesn't replace the pizza but it was still darn good. Then I decided to take on chicken enchilada casserole and that was pretty darn good as well.. now we have left overs for 2 meals and maybe lunch 2 :)

Super Saturday!

So its been a pretty good day. Checked in all my Mary Kay, got to use all the new products and I'm super stoked!!! Sable woke up Jeff this morning at 7am!!! Course in turn it woke me up 2 but it was just funny he was first cause that made him be the one to take her out. Yesterday she was still hard core in her shell but this morning she was willing and ready to play. When we first got her the stairs were an issue, now that I've made her deal with it (Jeff was just carrying her and I wasn't gonna mess with that) she now goes up AND down!! She's adorable however I feel super bad that her ribs are so visible but we are working on that. :) Woo Hoo College Football started 2day! Tech is playing North Dakota (random) so its naturally meant to be a blow out. Jeff is already glewed to the TV when football is on.. Sable put her paw on him to get his attention to pet her and he did for a sec but went right back to concentrating on the TV. Poor girl, she'll learn :) Till the next time.

Jeff Dunham

MAN, its already Sept and what a crazy week this has been since I've last signed in. I had a job interview and feel like it went pretty well till the end. She seems really concerned that driving will be a big issue with me... Driving almost and hr to get to work then turn back around and redrive that hour plus another hr and half sometimes. Sure, who wouldn't feel like they are back tracking, CAUSE YOU ARE, but for the longer duration.... I will be getting paid! I'm not holding my breath and I'm ok with not getting it because I don't feel to comfortable working in such a close network of people, while knowing that for at least the beginning they will constantly be questioning me instead of embracing what I have to offer. That may be a lil extreme but hey that's how I feel. On to better notes... Life at Teacher Heaven has slowed down quite a bit which kinda blows cause now we are having to deal with those who are returning making it harder for us to make our days, not to mention there are less people there to take the attention away from all the weird, annoying teachers who make us question what kind of education those kids are getting really. My lil MK plug... I've already got a woman who seems to really be excited to find a MK consultant because her's has been MIA for awhile and here I am... Got my name out and everything!! Thanks Mom for knowing all the people you know!!!

Highlight #1!!!! Jeff Dunham!!!!! I LAUGHED MY BUTT OFF!!! My throat was hurting halfway through the first act Walter but I couldn't seem to keep it in check. So many times I was laughing so hard all I was doing was the laughing movements cause noise wasn't coming out. A few times I was doubled over laughing with tears filling my eyes and rolling down my cheeks!! :) LOVE THE WHOLE SHOW!!! And Peanut was great, however my side splitters seem to really be coming from Achmed...... He truly has grown in popularity and who can't resist saying "SILENCE.... I keel you!!!" when they are upset.... makes the situation that much more dealable!! :)

Suprise highlight #2!!!! I left work yesterday in almost a daze. Work had been really slow and yet the number or air brained issues seemed as if we've met the months quota. I was tired and SUPER excited bout Dunham!!! I forgot to message Jeff to say I was on my way home which I felt was no big deal, he knew when I was getting off so no worries.. I open the door and the floor pillow (apparently thats all it will be) was in front of the door then right beside it.... SABLE!!!! Puppy was here.... Uncle Aaron was excited about her and said that she would babysit her while we go to the show so that we could get her earlier than planned!! WOOO HOOO Course thats good and all however she is really kinda down because the dogs worst fear and my WORST fear... she has ticks!!!! OH NO! She got washed twice and the soap sat on her for about 20 min... 10 each time however I feel like all the petting I was doing seemed to have found the VAST majority of them and we found 2 dead ones after her bath. This morning ASAP, I was up and at Lowes for the solution to the problem... SEVIN... I remember that stuff in MASSIVE bulk growing up for outside the house with the flea problem on our puppies and kitty's back home and on my poor Buttons (miss him tons) I did LOTS of research and found that you can use the dust on carpet with the same effect... COVER the whole area then vacuum vacuum vacuum!!! Believe you me I've got that down!!!!
Sable seems like she is going to be the perfect dog for us!!! She is super calm (don't blame her cause he woman parts were taken) but the whole time we were pulling ticks off her.. she never even once yelped and only flinched twice. She is such and adorable puppy I can't wait for her to come out of her shell with us. She already gets a lil upset when we leave so I'm taking that as a good sign. Now all we need to accomplish is her walking down the stairs to potty. Alright, well I guess I've ranted enough about all this so I'll come to an end. Since I'm off till Tues, I'll make them more frequent and less long... haha we'll see!!
